Questions we get asked.

At the risk of being slightly annoying… it really does depend on the scope and level of support you need.

Bid support isn’t one-size-fits-all. A light-touch review of an existing response is very different from managing a complex, multi-schedule public sector tender from start to submission.

That said, we know “it depends” isn’t very helpful on its own. So, here’s a rough guide to give you a ballpark (not a binding quote). We’ve assumed end-to-end engagement.

Small Bid (think local government): From about $8k – $12k

Medium Bid (think state government): From about $12k-$25k

Big Bid (large private industry or complex govt bid): $25k-$40k

Really Big Bid: anything from $40k-$100k+

Costs are worked out based on three key criteria:

  1. What is our scope of work, and
  2. How long do we have to deliver that scope, therefore
  3. How many Tender Relief people are needed

Once we understand these three elements clearly, we always provide a fixed project cost up front, so you have accountability and transparency from us.

If you choose to proceed, we charge a deposit of 50% upfront to commence work, with the remaining 50% due at project handover or submission.

We work to your submission deadline and plan backwards from there. While we regularly support tight turnarounds, we recommend engaging early – ideally at the start of the open bid period – to allow a maximum window for stronger strategy and content development.

Either. Some clients want full management; others want a strategic review before submission. We adapt to the level of support you need. In both scenarios, we work collaboratively – but we drive the process, secure the right inputs, and take the weight off your team.

We’re industry agnostic. Our expertise is in tendering, and the core principles apply across sectors. We've delivered results in mining, health, tech, construction, government transport, and more.

Not every bid is successful – but every bid is valuable. We debrief with you thoroughly. We analyse feedback, identify gaps, and turn those insights into stronger positioning for your next submission.

Whether you've got a live opportunity or you're just exploring, we're ready to talk.

Nuline Charter

Transportation

Awarded full scope

The challenge

Nuline Charter approached Tender Relief on a word-of-mouth recommendation to bid for a private school bus service. It was an exciting but significant opportunity: The team didn’t have the time to run a formal tender themselves, wanted a fresh approach to their submissions, and was determined to present something that genuinely showcased their strengths, experience and suitability for the contract.

What we did

Tender Relief stepped in at short notice, working to a tight deadline over the busy festive period. We took control end to end and produced a high-quality, professional proposal, backed by evidence of prior success and supported by graphic design that helped the College picture exactly what Nuline’s service would continue to deliver for its students.

Outcome

Nuline Charter won the contract and is now delivering a reliable, safety-focused service to the College and its students. They’ve since returned to Tender Relief for further work, the kind of repeat partnership we value most.

“This was a really important bid for us, and from the very first phone call our minds were put at ease that we’d made the right decision. Tender Relief supported us at every stage, strategy, document preparation, compliance checks and final submission, with professionalism, clear communication, strong technical knowledge and genuine care for our success. Their human approach made the experience reassuring and removed a lot of the stress of a large tender. We’ve used Tender Relief on a number of occasions since, and I highly recommend them to any business seeking expert, reliable and friendly bid support.”

Impact Digi

Marketing

Awarded full scope

The challenge

Impact Digi was applying to join the WA Local Government Association (WALGA) Professional Services panel across multiple scopes – a listing that would let councils across WA engage them as a vetted provider without a separate tender each time. The opportunity landed while the person who normally managed these submissions was on leave, leaving the team needing to coordinate a multi-scope response at short notice.

What we did

Tender Relief stepped in as an extension of the Impact Digi team. We leveraged their existing content, worked alongside their in-house designers, and customised the response across three distinct scopes in parallel, taking the pressure off internal staff while keeping each submission sharp and tailored.

Outcome

Impact Digi was successful across all three scopes, unlocking a pipeline of future local government clients without the need to tender for each opportunity individually.

“Tender Relief stepped in at exactly the right time to support our WALGA Professional Services panel submission while a key team member was unavailable. Their team quickly understood our business, leveraged our existing content, and coordinated the response across multiple scopes while working closely with our in-house designers. The process was smooth, well organised and significantly reduced the pressure on our internal team. Their support played an important role in helping us secure success across all three scopes.”

Wrapped Creations

Event Management

Awarded full scope

The challenge

The Shire of Ashburton went to market for the design, operation and management of three of its key regional festivals across Tom Price and Onslow, spanning 2025 to 2027. Wrapped Creations had run these events before and was determined to continue, but as a busy small business with a hands-on leadership team delivering large events across the country, it had little capacity to write a comprehensive, compliant tender. They turned to Tender Relief to write, design and produce a proposal worthy of the opportunity.

What we did

Tender Relief took control of the process and lifted the writing burden off the Wrapped Creations team. We produced a high-quality, compliant proposal backed by evidence of prior success, with custom graphic design that brought the proposed festivals to life, helping the Shire picture exactly what Wrapped Creations’ vision for these signature events would look like on the ground.

Outcome

Wrapped Creations was successful across every lot it tendered for. An outstanding result, and the start of more work to come.

“A massive thank you for all the amazing creative work you did to pull this tender response together. I’ll happily shout from the rooftop what a fantastic experience this has been.”

Bennco Engineering

Regional Engineering & Civil

Won. 2025 Regional Business of the Year

The challenge

Bennco Engineering set out to win one of the state’s most prestigious business awards, an opportunity to put years of regional capability, reputation and advocacy in front of the wider Western Australian market. They wanted a compelling, well-considered application that did justice to that story while meeting the requirements of a competitive judging process.

What we did

Tender Relief took the lead on producing a high-quality application. We worked closely with the Bennco team to draw out the right information, case studies and the company’s long history of supporting and advocating for regional WA, then distilled it into a succinct, specific and fully compliant submission built to land with the judges.

Outcome

Bennco Engineering was awarded the 2025 Regional Business of the Year by WA Business News.

“The Tender Relief team supported us at every stage of the application, from strategy and document preparation through to final submission. Their guidance and collaborative approach made sure the application was clear and professional, while capturing the heart, culture and mission of Bennco Engineering. And we won!”

North West Mining and Civil (NWMC)

Mining & Civil

Awarded full scope

The challenge

NWMC was invited into a large, multi-year Master Services Agreement tender with Rio Tinto for civil, earthworks and maintenance services, a strategically critical opportunity to deepen a long-standing relationship and prove capability at scale. The bid was complex and highly competitive, required input from several subject-matter experts, and had to be delivered within the governance structure of NWMC’s listed parent company. NWMC engaged Tender Relief as a specialist partner to bring structure, compliance and quality to the submission.

What we did

Tender Relief provided structured, end-to-end bid management. We coordinated NWMC’s subject-matter experts, worked within the listed-parent company’s governance and approval processes, and managed the development of a compelling, compliant response. The submission called for highly tailored attachments and detailed graphics to position NWMC’s capability and experience, alongside detailed methodologies, a strategic executive summary, and a clear grasp of the realities of operating in the remote Pilbara resources environment.

Outcome

After a lengthy evaluation, NWMC was awarded a Master Services Agreement with Rio Tinto covering the entire scope of its bid.

“NWMC engaged Tender Relief for the tender of Rio Tinto’s RTIO Earthworks & Civils Tender in mid-2025. Their team made the process easy and stress-free. This was NWMC’s first engagement with Tender Relief, and the experience was fantastic. Their expert support, clear communication, and friendly approach led to a strong tender submission and a great experience. We have worked extensively with Tender Relief since this first engagement, and we highly recommend Tender Relief to any business needing professional bid support”.

CDC Charter

Transportation

Awarded full scope

The challenge

CDC Charter was facing a very large and complex bid, that needed to be completed within short timeframes. Tender Relief was engaged by CDC Charter to support in the preparation of the tender working with the team, ensuring the submission of a compliant, professional and high-quality tender response to Sydney Trains.

What we did

Tender Relief was engaged to provide end-to-end bid management services. The brief included managing the bid from end to end, including project and milestone management, writing and coordinating of the required bid schedules, attachments, supporting evidence, graphic design and full support through the submission and post-submission activities. This included customised and tailored attachments to illustrate and position the business well for success.

Outcome

After many rounds of clarifications and negotiations, CDC was awarded the contract and continues to deliver outstanding service to this day!

“On behalf of myself and CDC Charter Team I wanted to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks for your efforts and support in providing all the information required for this submission. It was definitely a monumental effort to get the job done. Thank you so much to Tender Relief for your great work.”
